Food waste conversion specialist Green Eco Technologies (GET) has appointed Rick Woods as its Global Chief Executive Officer, with immediate effect, to spearhead the next stage of the Company’s global growth.
A Non-Executive Director with the Company since 2018, as CEO Rick will oversee the growth strategy for the GET group, which has offices in the UK and Australia and representation in the USA, the UAE and Spain.
Prior to joining Green Eco Technologies, Rick held the position of Executive Director with process re-engineering consultancy The Bevington Group, working with both large and small-sized companies across a diverse range of industries, to develop strategies for business growth and transformation.
A qualified mechanical engineer with experience in business development, strategy, operations and sales, Rick formerly worked for Energy Australia as Chief Transformation Officer. Prior to this he held the position of Group General Manager for Amcor’s fibre packaging business and spent 20 years with Shell International in its downstream oil business, latterly as Regional VP – Aviation for North America.
